[Closed] Adding a visit

There are a couple of ways to add a visit. The easiest way to do it is when you are actually visiting a tower, since you can sort the towers by location, pick the tower you are at, press the bell icon to show visits to that tower, then press '+' to add a visit.

You can also add a visit from the list of tower visits, by pressing the '+' button there, but then you need to select the tower manually.

When adding a visit, it will have today's date by default but if you press the date, it will allow you to change the date.

When changing the reason for the visit to be a quarter peal or peal, then you can enter the method you have rung and the Ringing World ID so that you can see the actual page on bellboard. To find the ringing world ID, go to the page for the quarter or peal and look at the address for it, which will end view.php?id=xxxx and the xxxx is the ringing world ID. 

You can also enter notes about the visit, for example it may be for a specific community reason you've rung for and you've specified 'Other' as the reason for the visit, or it maybe part of a ringing day out where you visit multiple towers and you want to record that.
